Description
The Witzenberg Municipality Bursary offers financial support to students residing within the Witzenberg area of the Western Cape for the 2025 academic year. With a focus on fostering education in diverse fields such as Agriculture, Civil Engineering, and Health and Wellness, the bursary aims to enhance educational opportunities for local students. Applicants must be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35, enrolled full-time at a recognized FET or TVET college, and must meet specific academic criteria, including a minimum of 60% in their final exams. The bursary covers registration fees, stationery, and class fees for one year and prioritizes applicants from historically disadvantaged backgrounds and those with disabilities. Complete applications, including certified copies of essential documents, must be submitted before the 25th of June 2025, and successful candidates will be notified within 30 days of the closing date, ensuring a fair selection process.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must reside within the Witzenberg Municipal area, in the Western Cape province
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old
- Must be studying full-time towards a qualification within one of the fields of study listed above
- Must be studying at an approved FET or TVET college
- Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in your final exams
- Must NOT be receiving any other bursary funding
- Preference will be given to students from historically disadvantaged societal groups and/or students with disabilities
