The SIOC-CDT Bursary Programme for 2025 aims to support deserving students from the Northern Cape and Limpopo provinces in South Africa. The bursary covers a range of fields including Agriculture, Business Management, Education, Engineering, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Law, and Tourism, with a preference for students pursuing specific specializations. This bursary is designed to assist students financially by covering tuition fees, accommodation, study materials, laptops, and providing monthly stipends. Special support is available for students with disabilities who may receive additional assistive devices to aid their studies. Applicants must meet several eligibility criteria, including being South African citizens under the age of 35, residing in specified beneficiary communities, and demonstrating a need for financial assistance with a household income of less than R600,000 per year. The application process requires online submission, along with several supporting documents to verify eligibility, such as academic records and proof of income. The closing date for applications is set for 17 January 2025 at 12:00 midday, and students who wish to apply are encouraged to do so timely to avoid disqualification due to late submission.
