Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be under 30 years old
- Must have completed Matric or be currently in Matric
- Must intend on studying full-time towards an undergraduate degree in Economics
- Must be entering 1st year of study in 2026
- Must have been accepted or provisionally accepted to study at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa
- Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 70% for the 2025 academic year
- Must have achieved a minimum overall result of 70% for English and Mathematics
- Must be in financial need
- Must be unable to afford to attend university without a bursary
- Must be from a disadvantaged background
