This bursary is aimed at young trainees studying culinary arts towards a professional cookery programme, particularly in Occupational Qualifications related to Cook and Chef. With the backing of generous sponsors, SA Chefs provides a structured bursary fund designed to support aspiring chefs in their educational pursuits. The bursary offers financial assistance of up to R30,000 to cover tuition fees, with the funds being paid directly to the training provider. Successful candidates are expected to engage in PR activities on behalf of SA Chefs and its sponsors, which enhances their professional experience. Additionally, they must be enrolled in a recognized culinary training program, with a course duration of at least a year, and must demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a career in professional cookery.
