Description
The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) of South Africa is inviting applications for its International Bursary for the 2025 academic year. This bursary is targeted at students pursuing postgraduate studies in Film or Television (excluding Live Performance or Acting courses) at accredited overseas institutions. The NFVF, established under the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, aims to enhance the film and video industry in South Africa by funding education and development initiatives. The bursary provides comprehensive financial support, covering tuition and living expenses up to a total of R280,000. To be eligible, applicants must be South African citizens or permanent residents and must be enrolled in full-time studies towards a postgraduate qualification that is not available within South Africa. Each application must include documentation such as a certified ID document, academic records, proof of enrollment in an international institution, a motivational letter, and evidence of financial need.
