Provided by:Nedbank
Description
Nedbank is inviting students to apply for their External Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year. This bursary aims to address scarce-skills shortages in South Africa by focusing on fields such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), and Green Economy skills, which align with sustainable development goals. The programme targets academically deserving students who are in financial need, providing them with the opportunity to pursue undergraduate or Honours degrees in these areas. Candidates must meet specific eligibility requirements, such as being a South African citizen, currently completing Matric or enrolled in a degree programme, and being accepted into full-time studies at recognized institutions in South Africa. Applications must be made online by submitting various documentation, highlighting personal, academic, and financial information, ensuring a complete assessment process. Nedbank's selection process involves screening applications and shortlisting candidates, who may then undergo virtual interviews and assessments. Successful applications will be notified post-selection. The closing date for applications is August 31, 2025. For any queries, applicants can contact the Nedbank bursary team directly.
