The MUTFSCO & BASF Bursary offers financial support for Black female students in South Africa pursuing studies at the Mangosuthu University of Technology. Provided by the Mangosuthu University of Technology Former Student Christian Organisation (MUTFSCO) in collaboration with BASF, this bursary aims to foster educational opportunities in the fields of Chemistry, Engineering, and Sciences. Awarded students will benefit from full coverage of tuition fees, provision of books, a laptop, accommodation, food, and a monthly stipend to support their living expenses during their studies. Eligible applicants must be South African citizens, Black females with a completed Matric certificate, a strong academic record, and must intend to study full-time in one of the specified fields for the 2025 academic year. To apply, candidates are required to complete an online application form and submit supporting documents including certified copies of their ID, Matric certificate, academic records, proof of household income, a motivational essay discussing their career perspectives, and a CV.   • Studying or registered to study at Mangosuthu University of Technology
  • Strong academic record
  • In financial need and meet NSFAS income criteria
  • Not receiving any other bursary or scholarship awards
  • Not have a criminal record
