Description

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is inviting applications for its 2026 bursary programmes aimed at enhancing skills within the mining and minerals sector. Two types of bursaries are offered: Unemployed Bursaries (430 available) and Employed Bursaries (70 available). The bursary covers expenses such as tuition, accommodation, and book allowances for unemployed students, while employed students receive tuition and book allowances. Eligibility criteria emphasize financial need, with a combined household income threshold of R600,000.
