Description

The Letsatsi Borutho Trust Bursary for 2026 aims to assist youth residing in the vicinity of the Droogfontein Solar Power plant by providing financial support for their tertiary education. The Trust has committed R1.8 million for this academic year, building on their substantial investment of R8.3 million in previous bursaries. This funding initiative is open to students covering a broad range of fields including degrees, national diplomas, and vocational courses at recognized institutions. Support includes essential fees like registration, tuition, and exam costs, along with materials and living expenses to ease financial burdens faced by eligible applicants. To be considered, candidates must confirm their South African citizenship, geographic eligibility, and acceptance into a tertiary educational program, all while demonstrating financial need. Applications are accepted online with strict adherence to submission guidelines and document requirements necessary for processing. Interested parties are encouraged to apply by 31 October 2025, ensuring that all criteria and documentation are fulfilled to avoid disqualification.
