Description
The KMF High School Scholarship is provided by the Kay Mason Foundation (KMF), aimed at supporting underprivileged South African students entering Grade 8 in the 2027 academic year. Since its establishment in 1999, KMF has connected numerous students with educational resources necessary for academic success. The scholarship focuses on aiding learners from disadvantaged communities, assisting them in acquiring skills and education essential for becoming future leaders of South Africa. The support includes partial coverage for educational related expenses such as school fees, uniforms, textbooks, transport, tutoring, school camps, and extra-curricular activities. Additional benefits include support workshops, career guidance, and ongoing post-graduation support. To qualify, applicants must adhere to minimum requirements including South African citizenship, specific age and schooling status, as well as income limits for combined household earnings. The application process necessitates online submission and a variety of supporting documents to verify eligibility. Key dates for academic assessments and final selections are outlined, culminating in the 2026 scholarship award. Interested parties are encouraged to apply before the closing date of April 30, 2025, ensuring all documentation is complete to avoid disqualification.
