Jones & Wagener Bursary 2026
Provided by:Jones & Wagener
Description
The Jones & Wagener Bursary Programme, provided by the esteemed engineering and science consulting firm Jones & Wagener, aims to support South African students pursuing their studies in critical fields such as Civil Engineering, Environmental Geochemistry, and Geology. Scholarships will be granted for the academic year 2026, with criteria for selection including academic merit, financial need, and alignment with company values. Bursaries will cover essential educational costs, starting with tuition fees, and may extend to accommodation and textbook allowances. A pivotal part of the program is the expectation for recipients to engage in six weeks of paid vacation work at Jones & Wagener offices during the academic breaks, providing practical experience in their fields of study. After graduation, recipients are then obligated to work for Jones & Wagener for a duration commensurate with the time funded by the bursary. The eligibility requirements are strict, necessitating strong academic performance and financial necessity, particularly emphasizing support for students reflecting Black Economic Empowerment. Interested candidates must complete the online application and submit requisite documents by the specified deadline of July 31, 2025. Successful applicants will be contacted by October 31, 2025. For any inquiries regarding the bursary, applicants are encouraged to reach out to Jones & Wagener directly.
