Description
The Johannesburg Water Bursary for 2025 invites students pursuing a BSc in Engineering at Gauteng universities, including TUT, VUT, WITS, UJ, and UP, to apply. The program is designed to support deserving learners by alleviating financial burdens and fostering academic excellence. Johannesburg Water SOC Ltd provides essential water and sanitation services to over 5 million residents in Johannesburg, emphasizing the importance of quality education for the next generation of engineers. Students can apply in the fields of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering with a total of four bursaries available—two for Civil Engineering, one each for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Eligibility criteria include being a South African citizen pursuing full-time studies, having completed Matric and at least the first year of study, and demonstrating both a strong academic record and financial need. Eligibility Requirements
