Description
The Golden Arrow Bus Services (GABS) Bursary for the 2025 academic year is aimed at supporting South African students pursuing a BSc in Computer Science. Established in 1861, Golden Arrow is a major public transport operator based in Cape Town, committed to quality and community service. The bursary covers essential study expenses including tuition fees, transportation, accommodation (based on actual university costs), and offers a monthly stipend to alleviate incidental costs, which is currently set at R4 000. To be eligible, applicants must be South African citizens, entering their second year or higher of their studies, with a household income not exceeding R400 000 per year (or R600 000 if living with a disability). Furthermore, all SASSA grant recipients are encouraged to apply. Bursary recipients are required to work for GABS for one year for each year funded. Interested students should email their applications, including the necessary documents, to the designated email address. The closing date for applications is yet to be confirmed, so candidates are urged to apply as soon as possible. For additional inquiries, prospective applicants can contact Raymond Dakuse directly.
