Description
The Free State Office of the Premier offers a bursary program for the 2025 academic year aimed at supporting students within the Free State province tackling critical skills gaps. The program provides financial support for students in select fields such as Commercial studies, Psychological studies, and STEM disciplines. There are different categories targeting Top Achievers, those from 'Missing Middle' households, and Marginalised students, each with specific eligibility requirements. The bursary covers educational expenses including registration fees, residence and meal fees, and necessary study materials. Applicants must be South African citizens residing in Free State, aged between 18 and 35, and have completed Matric. The final date to submit applications is 31 January 2025. Eligibility Requirements

- Must NOT be receiving any other bursary awards or sponsorships
- Must be accepted to study full-time towards a qualification within listed fields at a recognised and accredited HEI
