Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) Bursary for Students with Disabilities
Provided by:Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA)
Description
The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) in South Africa is currently inviting students with disabilities to apply for its Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year. The FSCA, which acts as a regulatory body for financial institutions, aims to support students pursuing undergraduate studies in specific fields, enhancing inclusivity in higher education. Eligible candidates can study in areas such as Business Management, Data Science, Economics (BCom), Finance (BCom), and Law (Bachelor of Laws degree). The bursary will cover essential expenses including registration fees, tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, meals, and a monthly allowance for incidental expenses. Additional support for disability-related learning devices will also be provided, ensuring that students have the resources necessary for their educational success. A work-back agreement is required post-graduation, requiring recipients to serve a period equal to the funding duration, ensuring future contributions back to the FSCA. To apply, students must be South African citizens living with a disability, have completed or be on track to complete their matric, and intend to study full-time at a recognized institution. Applications must be submitted online alongside required documentation by the closing date of 31 August 2025. Contact details for queries are available, ensuring that prospective applicants receive necessary guidance throughout the application process.
