Citrus Academy Bursary South Africa 2026
Provided by:Citrus Academy
Description
The Citrus Academy Bursary for the year 2026 invites students in Southern Africa to apply for financial support to pursue their studies in various agricultural fields related to citrus production. Established in 2005, the Citrus Academy aims to address human resource challenges in the citrus industry, including skills scarcity and empowerment. The bursary will cover essential academic expenses such as tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, and more, although it only provides partial funding. Bursary recipients are required to enter into a work-back service contract post-graduation, offering a minimum work period equivalent to the bursary duration. The bursary encourages applications from previously disadvantaged individuals and students with disabilities, with a preference for female applicants. To apply, students must complete an online application, submitting various documents, including a certified ID and a motivational essay detailing their aspirations within the citrus industry. The application deadline is September 15, 2025, and applicants will be informed of their status by mid-December 2025.
