BEKA Schréder Bursary
Provided by:BEKA Schréder (Pty) Ltd
Description
The BEKA Schréder Bursary program invites South African students to apply for financial support for their undergraduate studies in various fields such as Accounting, Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Logistics, Marketing, and Supply Chain for the academic year 2025. Established in partnership with Schréder, a Belgian multinational lighting company, BEKA Schréder has become a key player in the lighting solutions market in Africa. The bursary provides comprehensive financial assistance that covers tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation, and meals, up to a maximum of R75,000 per year. Bursaries are renewable annually, provided students meet the required academic standards and reapply each year. In addition, beneficiaries can participate in vacation work or practical training during their studies. To be eligible, candidates must be South African citizens with a completed or ongoing Matric qualification, planning to pursue their studies full-time at a DHET accredited institution. Furthermore, applicants must demonstrate a strong academic record and must not receive financial assistance from any other bursary, unless they have written consent from BEKA Schréder. Applications should be submitted electronically via email, accompanied by specific supporting documents including certified identification, proof of enrollment, and a motivational letter explaining why they deserve the bursary. The closing date for applications is set for March 2025, although the exact date has yet to be confirmed. Students interested in this opportunity are encouraged to apply promptly and to review all required materials to ensure their applications are considered.
