Description
The Africa Wetu Foundation (AWF) is dedicated to empowering the youth of Africa by increasing accessibility to educational opportunities. They aim to equip under-skilled and uneducated youth with the necessary skills and knowledge for their professional lives. The AWF Bursary Programme invites students for the 2025 academic year, covering fields like MSc in Computer Science/Information Systems at prominent institutions such as the University of Cape Town and the University of the Western Cape, as well as vocational training at Northlink College. The bursary covers tuition fees only. Eligible applicants must be South African citizens under 30 years old, pursuing their first qualification full-time in the specified fields and demonstrating financial need. The application process requires submission of an application form and various supporting documents, with applications closing on 30 April 2025. Selected candidates will undergo virtual interviews, and results will be announced by 31 May 2025.
