Description
The ABB Education Trust Bursary is available for Black Female students who are pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in fields including Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. This opportunity is provided by the ABB Education Trust, which operates independently of the ABB Group to empower students and support initiatives in South Africa. Eligible applicants must be South African citizens, have completed their first year of study with an average of at least 60%, and come from households with an annual income below R600,000. The bursary will cover various educational costs but will not fund repeat courses or cover outstanding balances from previous years. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be a Black Female (African, Coloured and Indian)
- Must be studying towards a qualification in one of the fields listed
- Must have completed the 1st year of study with a minimum overall average of 60%
- Must be entering 2nd year or higher in 2025
- Must be studying at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa
- Household income must be less than R600,000 per annum
- Black female students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
